RETURNS POLICY
We really hope you love your OH SO TROPPY pieces, but we understand, things don’t always work out that way. Sometimes you see it in real life and think.... mmm, nah. I should’ve just taken myself to dinner and not both...
If you change your mind for any reason within 14 days of receiving your online order, we offer returns for all items subject to the below conditions. Sale items are eligible for a return to store credit only. All items must be in original condition, unworn and unwashed, with the original tags attached.
We are still a small operation so have put practices in place to help process returns. Please know we will do our best to prioritize your return and communicate with you where needed!
To return an item please email us at hello@ohsotroppy.com. From there we will provide you with a return number & our return address. Please make sure your name and the return number can also be found on the parcel.
Return Timeframes
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to lodge and return your order.
Return Costs
It is at the expense of the customer to organise the return delivery to the OH SO TROPPY warehouse facilities.
Orders returned for a refund or store credit will incur a $10 AUD return processing fee per item returned. This fee will be deducted from your refund or store credit amount upon processing your return.
Return Parcel Tracking
Returns must be sent via registered post or by other such means or carrier of your choice, which provides proof of posting and delivery. All returns or exchanges sent to OH SO TROPPY must have a valid tracking number. We are unable to investigate return parcels without a tracking number. Please ensure your return is handed to the courier driver or lodged at a postal facility. We do not recommend using a street postal box to initiate your return, as a lodgement receipt is unable to be provided. OH SO TROPPY is not liable for items lost in transit.
Returns Processing Time
Once your return has arrived to our Sydney warehouse facility, please allow up to 5 business days for your return to be processed. You will be notified via email once your return has been processed.
Refunds
Returns are refunded back to the original form of payment and should appear in your bank account within 5-10 business days depending on your financial institution. Should you wish to make a return from an order placed with a store credit, the credit will be reinstated as the primary refund method. Any remaining funds will be returned to the secondary form of payment.
Return to Store Credit
All sale items are returned to store credit only. Store credit is created in AUD currency and will fluctuate based on the foreign exchange rate. OH SO TROPPY store credit is valid for 3 years from the date of return and can be used online.
Faulty Items Returns
If you believe your item has a fault, please contact our Customer Service team with your order number and images of the fault along with description. We classify an item as faulty if it has arrived damaged, or if a fault has occurred within 2 weeks from the order delivery date. Damage outside of 2 weeks, is considered normal wear and tear. Our customer service team will treat this as a top priority. In line with the ACCC guidelines - OH SO TROPPY will issue a full refund.
Exchanges
We are unable to facilitate exchanges at this time. If you wish to change your size or style, we recommend you repurchase and return your original order for a refund or store credit in accordance with our return conditions.
Garment Returns Conditions
All returned items must be in original condition, unworn, unused and unwashed, with the original tags and packaging attached.
If the returned item/s do not meet these conditions, it may be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
Garments received soiled or with make-up marks will not be accepted for exchange or return and will be sent back to the customer at the customer’s expense.
Refused Duties & Taxes
If any applicable duties and taxes are not paid, the order will be returned to OH SO TROPPY. A refund will be processed back to the original form of payment, minus the return fees and any custom charges paid to receive your order. For information regarding duties and taxes please click here.
Refund of Duties & Taxes
For international returns, OH SO TROPPY recommends contacting your local customs office for information on any possible customs and duties refunds that you may be eligible for within your country. OH SO TROPPY recommends checking with them, if marking on the package that the items are intended ‘Returned Goods’ may help to avoid additional custom duties and taxes. Please ensure adequate insurance is taken for the safe delivery of your order. All international customers are obliged to pay for their goods to be returned.
Upon return of your items, any applicable customs & duties paid at checkout or upon receiving your order will not be refunded by OH SO TROPPY.
Returning Multiple Orders Within One Parcel
Items across multiple orders can be returned within one parcel.
Please include all items within the one parcel, with a printout of the order details. This is to ensure that everything is in order to make it a smoother process on our end.
Returning an item purchased during a promotion period or with a discount code
All full priced items purchased during a promotional period or where a discount code has been applied, are eligible for return to the original form of payment. All sale items purchased during a promotional period are only eligible for a return to store credit.
Non-returnable items
Due to sanitary and hygiene reasons, we are unable to offer returns for earrings.
Any products marked as Final Sale or Last Chance have a strict no returns, exchanges, or refunds policy, unless the item is deemed as faulty.
Ensure your return meets the conditions of our Returns Policy and complies with the above points before lodging your return.
